Summer is coming! So this time, I put on a summer dress and shoot along Yarra River(Melbourne) in a sunny afternoon towards sunset. Enjoy such a quiet but beautiful day
This time, Candice is shooting in the garden next to State Parliament House, Melbourne.
It was approaching to sunset so the pictures have a bit more noise than usually due to lack of light.
Anyway, we quickly shoot as many as we can and pictures turn out not bad. I like the feeling of being casual and relaxed.
By the way, it gets very cold after the sun goes down these days in Melbourne, less than 10 degree i think…
This time, we went to a HUGE studio in Northcote, Melbourne.
It was a building with three stories and had almost EVERYTHING you could think of in a studio–gym equipment, bed, sofa, traditional studio backdrops, fan, stairs, car, motor etc. And even every piece of wall has different pattern that you could use as background for different kind of style of shooting. You could imagine that we shoot for almost FOUR hours but still could not finish using all of them.
Here are some of the result and this time, i will share some behind-the-scene pictures as well
Now, lets welcome behind-the-scene pictures! :p
The last two pictures are taken approaching to the end when it is getting dark so not enough night
I really like the motor but too bad we do not have time to take some shots with it this time.
Oh, nearly forget to say, these behind-the-scene pictures are all taken by a PHONE camera (Galaxy S2) only. It is pretty good for a phone camera, isnt it?
Carlton Gardens is a beautiful garden located in north-east of Melbourne CBD. It is your ideal choice if you want to forget your study or work for a while and relax yourself quietly in a sunny afternoon. Bring your picnic rag, some snack or a book, lie down on the grass, you will realize, you just pick up the beautiful views that you missed.
Home studio
This time, the shoot was done in photographer’s home studio. It was a functional one which contains big soft boxes, multicolour backdrops, props, thousands of flashes etc. And the most interesting one is the photographer has a machine for making smoke! so that the background looks dreamy. haha..that was fun!
